  4.  Subscribe via email
So far, this is the best-documented and best-integrated Joomla/Mailchimp extension I've seen.

But I'm apparently missing something. Other than showing me my list and my subscribers from Mailchimp, absolutely no subscribers are being added. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Members of the website sign up through Community Builder. I enabled the CB-Plugin, but it appears that option adds a checkbox to the registration and when checked, requires that the registrant add the fields that they already filled out on the form.

The API and Webhooks are set up in the Options (confirmed because I see my list and subscribers in the component), so that seems to be working.

I configured and set mapping up for two Joomla Plugins:

Community - CMC Registration plugin, and
User - CMC Registration plugin

These two plugins ask me to select fields to show on the form, but aren't they already on the form?

I have the field maps set up on both of them:

EMAIL=email
FNAME=name:0
LNAME=name:1

and I've varied my tests with the corresponding fields selected and not selected for the form.

I realize this is a free product (it's worth paying for, though!). I just don't know what I'm doing wrong - or maybe it requires a separate form and I'm not mapping it right. If a separate form is required, then it's not what I was looking for.

Thank you,
Ernie

I remain unable to use this extension. Without answers to my questions above, I don't know where else to turn.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the program and re-entered the API key and other details. The Plugins are enabled. It's obviously connecting because it shows my list and my subscribers. The registration form has a checkbox for Newsletter, and when it's checked it shows an empty email, first name, and last name field (which is redundant). When I complete these fields again for the newsletter, it still does not add the record to Mailchimp.

So I guess I'll have to uninstall and move on to something else. After two weeks without a response and having followed all the instructions as best I can understand them, I guess this just isn't the right solution for me.

Thank you,
Ernie

The resource submitted could not be validated. For field-specific details, see the 'errors' array.

That's what I keep getting when you try to register or if an existing user tries to subscribe thru their profile. The extension is unusable. This is if I use the field maps or make people re-enter their email. Both ways this happens. Mailchimp had to have changed something to cause this. Really hope we can get a fix... Same thing happens on other JoomlaMailer extension also so it has to be on Mailchimp's end and extensions have to be updated to work.

We are actually lockt to a mailchimp API version, so it shouldn't be mailchimp. Did you update CB maybe? I haven't tested this in a while, so it is possible that something has changed.
Please if you use our extensions be so kind and review them at JED

I'm not using CB, I'm using built-in default Joomla Registration.
