So far, this is the best-documented and best-integrated Joomla/Mailchimp extension I've seen.
But I'm apparently missing something. Other than showing me my list and my subscribers from Mailchimp, absolutely no subscribers are being added. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.
Members of the website sign up through Community Builder. I enabled the CB-Plugin, but it appears that option adds a checkbox to the registration and when checked, requires that the registrant add the fields that they already filled out on the form.
The API and Webhooks are set up in the Options (confirmed because I see my list and subscribers in the component), so that seems to be working.
I configured and set mapping up for two Joomla Plugins:
Community - CMC Registration plugin, and
User - CMC Registration plugin
These two plugins ask me to select fields to show on the form, but aren't they already on the form?
I have the field maps set up on both of them:
EMAIL=email
FNAME=name:0
LNAME=name:1
and I've varied my tests with the corresponding fields selected and not selected for the form.
I realize this is a free product (it's worth paying for, though!). I just don't know what I'm doing wrong - or maybe it requires a separate form and I'm not mapping it right. If a separate form is required, then it's not what I was looking for.
Thank you,
Ernie
