Resolved There is no supported eCommerce software installed!

Hello,

I have installed CMC Mailchimp for joomla in a client's joomla website and I would like to connect it with the hikashop, also installed.

What I did so far is to enable CMC - Ecom360 Hika, but when I go to the eCommerce setup of the extension, I get only Virtuemart option in the Shop Software field (although the plugin for Virtuemart is disabled). There is also the following message on top of that eCommerce setup page: "There is no supported eCommerce software installed!".

What am I doing wrong and how can this be fixed? I would appreciate your help on this. It's quite urgent.

Wow! Thank you for your quick reply!

By saying eCommerce setup, I mean the option under the Components --> CMC - Mailchimp for Joomla --> eCommerce (your extension).

I think I have followed the documentation. As said, I already enabled the CMC - Ecom360 Hika. With this plugin enabled, shouldn't I get the "Hikashop" option in the Shop Software field? Maybe I am missing something? Any help would be appreciated.

Ah, I see what you are talking about now. Well, there we only support Virtuemart.

This option there is for uploading your list of products to mialchimp. Once done you can then get recommendations from Mailchimp on products the user should buy. We currently only support Virtuemart import.

As far the ecomment-hika shop plugin - it is only for sending information to mailchimp on successful sale of a product. This way mailchimp can attribute the sale to a newsletter you've sent.

Thank you so much for your help! I just have one last question please. So, which of the following possibilities of mailchimp could function with this plugin?

1. Connect "abandoned cart emails"
2. Connect "product retargeting emails"
3. Connect "order notifications"
4. Connect "product recommendations"
5. Connect "product follow up"
6. Connect "customer re-engagement"
7. Connect "best customers"

Hey Dora,

Since we don't have ecommerce support for hikashop, but only for virtuemart at this point you won't be able to do any of the above points.

The only integration for hika is the tracking of sales. So if you send an email and recommend something in it - we'll send info to mailchimp if a sale happened in response to an email.
