Resolved Installation Troubles

Hello,

I have downloaded the Tiles extension and installed it properly (or so I thought). However when I try to click on the extension in my components panel, the page turns dead and nothing loads. I tried uninstalling the extension and re installing it, yet nothing changes. Can someone offer a solution?

Hi Diane,

you should really update to Joomla 2.5.8 - not only because of tiles. There are some severe security holes in you old version!

When it's still not working after the update, could you provide me a admin account to your site? Going to take a closer look then.

Hello Yves,

I am using Joomla 2.5.4. I turned error reporting to development, but I cannot afford to have my site display these error messages. However, I did not see any errors regarding the Tiles extension. Do you have any other suggestions?

Hello Diane,

hmm sounds like a php error. Could you please turn on error_reporting (to development) and Joomla debugging (then you should get a error message)?

Which Joomla version are you using?
