Resolved CMC - 500 COM_CMC_API_ERROR

Hi,
Getting the error
500 COM_CMC_API_ERROR Could not connect (ERR 0: php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed:
Name or service not known)
when updating list for the first time "First Sync".

I've confirmed server firewall has unblocked mail chimp IPs and some api sample code works fine eg. mcapi_listMemberInfo.php

Can't find any other references to this issue. Any ideas appreciated.

What PHP version is your website on? Recommended is at least 5.3

Can you test it on a different server? I have no idea what is wrong, but most probably something on this server is turned off.

Hi Daniel,

I didn't test on a different server but the site I was trying CMC out on was on a subdomain, that must have been the problem as I did a clean install on another domain and had no problems with CMC.

Does that give you any idea how I can get it to work on the subdomain?

After a whole lot of testing it looks like something went wrong with the install, I deleted extension and reinstalled, seems ok now!
