Resolved The Mandrill Templates are not used

Everything is set up correctly:
CMandrill is installed and set up
API key is inserted
The three templates are inserted (com_user tasks register, request and remind)
The link in the mails are tracked by mandrill
The API logs show mandrill is being used (/messages/send calls but no messages/send-template)

However, the mandrill templates are not used. Can someone help me solve this?

Hi,

Have you set the 'view' parameter ?

I'm pretty sure it has to be set if you set the 'task' parameter.

Well, it seems view is not mandatory.

I've checked on my side a template for user remind and it's working :

Yeah, mine looks exactly the same (but in swedish). How come the templates are working for you and not me? Is there something else I've missed?

I re-published all the templates but it still didn't work. Can I see if the templates are enabled somehow?

Unfortunately, i think there's no info about this on the Mandrill template list page (which is not good :( ).

Have you checked you use the latest version of CMandrill ? Maybe you could try to create a fresh Mandrill template ?

Each email in mandrill should have tags for component, view and task. What do you have as values for the remind email?

We are talking about the view that shows the email field, right?
As far as I can see from com_users the view should be "remind" task should be "remind" as well. Component is com_users.

Do you mean email field in cmandrill - edit template? I set view to "remind" but it didn't change anything. Should I provide screenshots of the template in cmandrill as well?

Create 2 entries as the shown in the screenshot. Now try to register a user -> does he receive a message that uses the mandrill template?

I just tested it and it worked for me. So, I don't have any idea why it doesn't work for you.

I think you misunderstand! The method worked for the register view, and now I need to know what it should say in for the remind and request mails.
