HI THere,

Please bear with me newbie on CMC...

I have a question of clarification, I believe that when this extension is installed and set up properly so that it will sync to a MailChimp list, it automatically will keep the mailchimp list and the Joomla user list synced. So, whether a user is added to the joomla account, or whether a user is added to the Mailchimp account it will sync to the other. Is this correct?

Secondly, if this is the case, then how does CMC handle setting up the passwords for the joomla account as potentially if you have say 100 emails on the list at Mailchimp you would create 100 users all needing passwords?

It's not that case of syncing. The users are kept in sync (if you've configured the webhooks), but we don't create joomla accounts for them. We syn their mailchimp data. In the backend of the extension you have a list with the users -> this users should be kept in sync, not the joomla one.

Regards,
Daniel
Please if you use our extensions be so kind and review them at JED
