Strange checkbox after upgrade

Resolved Strange checkbox after upgrade

After upgrading from CMC version 1.4 to the most recent version, a strange checkbox appears in the subscription form. It is called Newsletter.

I don't know if this is generated by Mailchimp or CMC. Can you please provide assistance of how to get rid of it?

open the module in the backend and just save it. After that the checkbox should be gone.
