Is there a way to have the CMC registration go to a group in my Mailchimp mailing list when someone registers on my website, not just to my larger Mailchimp list?

Hey There,
So you do segmentation or what?

You have one big list and depending on a checkbox or something you want a user to end in one of the groups? Just add a checkbox :) If the user selects it, then he will end up in the group you want. Or did I misunderstand the question?

Regards,
Daniel

I just want their registration to go to my group (yes, it's a segment of the larger list - called a 'group' in Mailchimp), wtihout having to check a box. Hope that's clear. Thanks for the help.

Try it maybe with a hidden input field? If this field is present in the form, then we should send the value to mailchimp from it. and then you can segment on this hidden field.

Daniel

Hi Daniel,

Well I solved the problem by creating a new mailchimp account for this new website. However I created an API key for this new account, input that into CMC, saved and I got a 404 error message: 404: The requested resource could not be found.

I synchronize the list, and I'm still getting the 404 error message when I try to register on the site.

I'd appreciate your help with this. Thanks.
