  4.  Subscribe via email
Hi,
I am not sure if I am missing something but I have set up CMC following the instructions with my mailchimp. I can synch OK - i.e. mailchimp adresses to Joomla, but when I "add group" I get the errors:

invalid email address: **@***.com
NAME must be provided - Please enter a value

note that I have set up mailchimp with an email field & a name (text) field. I am not sure if there is a way to map the joomla fields to the mailchimp fields?

ironically I have it set up & working on another site (set up 6 months ago) and cant work out why I get these errors.

any ideas?

thanks

Hm, do you have a required field in your sign up form?
Please if you use our extensions be so kind and review them at JED

2 fields email & name
I had them both set as required (there is no choice with email)
I set name field to NOT be required and that seemed to work

thanks!

but it doesnt carry the name from joomla to mailchimp (which is not a big issue but it would be nice)
