There is product called Optin Professional Toolbar for Joomla, it provides a popup at the bottom of the users browser. http://www.pluginvalley.com/demos/optin-professional-toolbar-demo.html

Is there a feature within CMC - MailChimp for Joomla! that would enable me to do the some thing like this. Instead of a signup form within a module position I would like it the be on a tab that either sits at the bottom or on the side of the users browser.

Hey Michael,
We don't have such a toolbar. I'll try to add something like this in the next version.
In the meantime you can try to find someone who can code a little css -> putting our module at the bottom or top with absolute possition should not be a big deal.

Daniel

Thank you for your help, I have CMC working on a trial site http://www.abbeyfield.mightec.com/

I am using a regular module position on the right and that is working just fine, I will add a review to JED.

I have also got it working via an extension called Perfect Popup Box, this uses the Debug position and is show on the right and when you click on the tab the registration form opens.

I am looking to use a popup if I can. the only problem here is that after filling in the detail on the form, it doesn't show your acknowledgement message but it does go through the MailChimp process.

Thank you once again for your helpful reply.

Regards
Mike

What is with the module on the right? It has the same div id?

Our js gets applied to #cmc-124, but #124 is the first module on the page... So the module in the popup gets submitted automatically.

Daniel

This is a test site, I would not normally have two modules serving the same extension.

Well, if you remove the module on the right and just use the one in the popup - does it work as expected then?

Hello Daniel
I have removed the right hand module and tried the popup and yes it works just as I wanted it.
I cannot remember how to edit the email that the user see in the browser, can you point me in the right direction, is it set within MailChimp?
Thank you for your patience.
Regards
Mike
