Hi Daniel,
Great extension. I would absolutely pay for this, thank you for offering it for free. I will have to look into your other extensions for sure.
I have discovered a bug with Chrome and the labels in the module.
Take a look at this page in FF and Chrome and you will see.

I don't see any JS issues. Seems like a browser difference. Any ideas?

I see that you've already tried styling .overTxtLabel in your custom.css file.
Add z-index there as well and it should work. (don't ask me why you need to do this... In the next version we will use standard placeholders so I hope that we will return back to sanity)
