Newbie to Joomla here...
How do you recreate the registration, and other emails that Joomla sends out in notifications. I have CMandrill and for the most part I believe I followed the documentation and have it installed correctly but In the demo video:

there are templates that you have in Mandrill that have the "code" for a user registration. How do I recreate this. I do not know the correct syntax or code to call the user name, activation link, and password as its done in the standard registration email that is sent.

You can't manipulate the username, activation link and password individually. You have access to the whole body text. This will be placed in a specific position. Here are the docs:
