Hi All,

I've just installed Cmandrill on to my Joomla 3.2 site and then signed up for and created a new API key. I went to insert the API key in my joomla site's backend and got the following error upon saving the components new information I'd inserted.

Fatal error: Cannot use object of type stdClass as array in /home/swswsws/public_html/libraries/cmandrill/query/query.php on line 236

If there's anything you can do to help me resolve the above, it would be very much appreciated.

Regards,
Rob

Hey Rob,
Are you sure that you've provided a correct API key (no empty spaces or soemthing like this)?

Hi Daniel,

Originally I was putting in what turned out to be the download ID but then looked in the forum and saw a previous topic about API keys and you pointed the person to mandrillapp.com.

I have to admit it confused me being on two sites for the one component but got there in the end.

So once registered on mandrillapp.com I saw the API section and created an API key, this I then put in to Cmandrill in my joomla backend and it had no space just copied and pasted directly from the API creation section of mandrillapp.com.

As it won't let me access Cmandrill currently in the backend due to this error, I will take the API key out of Cmandrill via phpmyadmin and once back up and running with access to the component in my joomla admin backend, I will try typing the API key in directly and see what happens.

I will let you know the outcome.

Regards,
Rob

Daniel,

Can you confirm for me where in the database I'll find the Cmandrill component, as I'm looking right through _extensions and can't find it, am I looking in the right place or not please?

Rob

it is in the extensions table. The plugin and extension should have an entry there.
