Hi
When installing Tiles I get these messages:
"Error! Could not find a Joomla! XML setup file in the package."
Could there be something wrong with the XML file in the Zipped file: com_tiles-1.2.0?

Hi Johannes,

no Tiles is not compatible with Joomla 1.5 (none of our products are any more). Joomla 1.5 is outdated and no longer supported (including security updates) and already has some known security holes.

Everybody is strongly advised (by Joomla!) to update to 2.5 / 3.1 immediately.

Hi, I am using Joomla! 1.5.25. I downloaded the file several time. I signed in as an administrator.
I can install other packages on to same site so it is not permission issue.
I tried to install the package to Jumpbox with Joomla 2.5 and it worked.
Is Tiles maybe not compatible with Joomla 1.5?

Hi Johannes,

which Joomla version are you using? This could mean different things, like an broken archive (did you re download it?) but most times, this is pointing to insufficient directory permissions (tmp directory not writable etc.). Does installing other extensions work for oyu?
