I have some sites and one of them is using CMandrill to send e-mails.
It works great for all emails except for the Akeeba backup.
I have set up a backup to send a dump of the database to a specified emailadress and the mail is sent twice. One is sent via Mandrill and the other directly from the site.
The other sites i have use Akeeba backup in the same way (withour CMandrill) and onlu one mail is recieved.'
I have asked Akeeba backup and they had this answer:
I just inspected the code, and we are using Joomla built-in mailer function.
Since we're using the official code and API of Joomla, I suspect the problem relies inside CMandril.
How can i get rid of the extra email ?
