Cupdate version 2 not working

This extension is reporting that there is a new version 2.0
When I update the extension version 1 is installed.
If I go to https://compojoom.com/component/ars/?view=Items&release_id=196 and download what seems to be version 2 I find it is still version 1.

Could you please have a look at this as the extension is very useful?

I have a version working on Joomla 4, yes there are some changes needed to the code. I‘ll publish an updated version in the next days.

I'm not convinced that this plugin is being supported and am uninstalling it from my sites. I use Watchful so don't really need it any longer.

I have the same issue, on joomla 3.10. I have read about incomatibility with joomla update 4.0 and have try to update, install was successfull but still se version 1.0 and not 2 even if 2 version has been downloaded and installed correctly
