I'm integrating the CMC Registration Plugin into a Joomla website. On the registration form, the user is required to enter their email address twice (email and confirmation).

The CMC plugin is working by adding an option to subscribe to the newsletter. However, when the checkbox is checked, the plugin displays an additional email field required to sign up to the newsletter. This would mean that the user will then have to enter their email address again, which isn't desirable.

Am I missing something or is this the way it's been configured?

The only option I have at the moment is to create a custom form with the CMC email address as a hidden field which is updated via javascript when the user submits the form.

Any suggestions?
