  4.  Subscribe via email
Hi

I have seen several posts asking how to change the default email address field title in the subscription module. You've kindly pointed out that this is taken from MailChimp and that if the label is changed there, this will update the module form field. I've gone into my list in MailChimp and gone to Signup Forms then General Forms where I've updated the Email Address input label. However, this doesn't seem to update the CMC Module form on my site. I've cleared the cache on my site and waited a while to see if the change propagates through tna. Can you please advise whether I'm doing this incorrectly?

Kind regards

The asterisk means that the feild is required. If you set the field not to be required in mailchimp, then we won't show the *, but since the email should be required I don't advise you to change this :)
Please if you use our extensions be so kind and review them at JED

Many thanks Daniel, that worked perfectly. Is there any way to prevent the asterisk from displaying at the end of the label?

Once you change it in mailchimp -> open the module in the backend and save it again. After that it should have the correct label.
