Hello,

I have purchased both CMigrator and CComments and they both seem good (the only issue I had with the migration from WP was the migration hangs on 700 out of 789 comments yet all the 789 comments seem to have come in).

It will take several months to complete the setting up of my new Joomla site to replace Wordpress. During that time I will have created quite a bit of new content in Wordpress.

It is not possible to put the new articles on the Joomla site as comments will not come through and comments are important to us.

Nor can we afford to wait until the new Joomla site is ready and then import all the content for the central reason that as image captions come through in the migration procedure with code appearing, it will take several months to fix this up and so we need to be cleaning this up BEFORE doing the final migration.

My question therefore is: does the "Clean migration" feature work so that if it is set to NO then only NEW content will be migrated in?

Any help given with this would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
