We try to reply in timely manner, unfortunately we don't always suceed. If you don't get a reply within couple of days, don't hesitate to ping us again.

What we support

Support is available only for the PRO versions of our software & only to users having an active subscription (no exceptions! If your subscription has expired, then we won't provide any support). We don't provide support for the Core versions.

As a general rule of thumb - the more details you provide about your issues, the higher your chances of getting support are. Whenever possible add screenshots & give us a link to page where we can observe the issue.

Customization Policy

We understand that you want to be unique. Sometimes we are asked to make minor adjustments to our products so that they match a site's work & feel. Usually we are happy to make those modifications. However, sometimes we are asked to make adjustments that require hours of additional work - this is more than we can provide for free. If you need such adjustments check our Joomla! services page.

What we can support

1. Bugs - if you find a bug, we'll fix it.
2. Simple CSS problems - helping you find out why elements on your site are overlapping
3. Fast code adjustments - layout position changes or the removal of an HTML element

What we won't support

1. Changing the current functionality - our extensions are provided "as is".
2. Adding new functionality - no matter how trivial, adding anything to the current base always require time
3. Crappy hosting - if we determine that the reason of your issue is your hosting provider - we can't do anything other than advise you to look for a respected Joomla hosting
4. Outdated versions - if you are running an old version of our components, PHP or Joomla
5. Incompatibility with other extensions - there are extensions out there, that are bad! They badly written by people who have no idea what they do. If you are running one of those, chances are that we cannot help you. However we'll do our best to identify the issue & if it is in our power do whatever we can't to fix it. 
6. Bad templates - if you happen to run a crappy template, then you are out of luck. If we identify that your template is the cause of the problem (if our extension works as expected with a default joomla template) then we will ask you to look for help from the template creator.

What is Transifex?

Transifex is a web-based translation platform, also known as Globalization Management System (GMS). It targets technical projects with frequently updated content, such as software, documentation and websites and encourages the automation of the localization workflow by integrating with the tools used by developers.

Here at compojoom we use Transifex to translate our extensions.

Our Joomla extensions come with different language translations and all of those are created by an international team of volunteer translators. 

What and who is OpenTranslators?

OpenTranslators is a multilingual volunteer team of Joomla! Community Members who have for a goal to translate as many Joomla! extensions as possible. All translations are done online using the Transifex platform and it is used by OpenTranslators for easier collaboration. You will be spending time in Transifex as it will be your tool for translating our language files and submitting your translations to us.

Complimentary product
As a translator for Compojoom, you will receive complimentary use of the translated product for as long as you contribute to the translations for it. We encourage you to constantly submit your contributions if you would like to continuously receive complimentary product access.

We are looking for dedicated translators who are willing to volunteer in the long term to translate for us whenever we launch a new product or release new product updates.

Where do I sign up?

You are required to create an account in Transifex and then join the OpenTranslators team.

Sign-up an account in Transifex at https://opentranslators.transifex.com/. Once you have your account, join the OpenTranslators language team at https://opentranslators.transifex.com/. Your request will be approved by the respective coordinators of the language team within a few days. Compojoom has no authority to approve any translation requests from translators.

Where are your language files in Transifex that I can start translating?

Once you've joined the OpenTranslators team the easiest way to locate the languages needing translation is by going to our language center. Then select the extension you want to translate. Click on the language you want to translate and after that on "Help improve this language pack". Clicking on it will redirect you to the project on Transifex where you can start translating.

Tips for successful translations

As a contributor, you are advised to work as a team and encourage each other in the team in the completion of a language translation. The faster you work, the more Joomla users will benefit from using the products.

Most of our extensions are generally distributes in 2 editions, Core & Professional.

The Core edition is Free (as in "free speech" and as in "free beer"). You can download it as often as you want and you can install it on as many domains as you wish. Core editions don't come with support, but we generally try to help people if there are bugs.

The Professional edition, on the other hand, is the version distributed for a fee. It has all the features our extensions has to offer and comes with Pro support through our Forum & Ticket system. The different subscriptions options are listed below.

Subscription plan differences at a glance.

* Extensions that don't have Pro versions are not included in the Bundle as you can have them for Free & don't have to give us a single peny for using them. However if you appreciate our work, please either consider geting a subscription to any other product that you find interesting.

Simple licensing. You can install our software on as many sites as you want (unlimited domains). You can use the software forever, even after your subscription expires.

Mandrill is a transactional email product from the people who brought you MailChimp. Mandrill is designed to help applications or websites that need to send transactional email like password resets, order confirmations, and welcome messages. Technically, though, you can send any legal, non-spam emails through Mandrill.

Mandrill offers advanced tracking, easy-to-understand reports & email templates.

Here at compojoom we use Mandrill, because we want to be sure that you'll receive our emails. At the end it is no fun when you sign up for our service and you never receive your confirmation email! Mandrill makes sure that our emails are always delivered & are delivered fast! If your Joomla site needs to send any kind of transactional emails, then make sure that you use Mandrill. Using Mandrill with Joomla is easy thanks to our CMandrill extension. You can download it here.
