Hello,

I'm trying to import WordPress data into Joomla 2.5. I successfully exported the WP tables and imported them into the Joomla database for the new site.

I created a new configuration un the CMigrator configuration tab. When I select that config on the migrate tab, it seems everything is good to go, but when I click migrate, the tools runs through it's routines and says ther is noting to import.

I have reviewed the tables in phpMyAdmin, they seem to be valid and contain data.

One think that is not clear to me is how cMigrator know what database to open. Nowhere in the config was I asked for the database name. I was asked for the prefix, which is 'wp_'.

Please advise.

BTW - it just occurred to me what I may have done wrong. I created a separate dbase under the SAME username as the main Joomla website dbase. Was I supposed to import the wordpress tables directly into the existing ddbase?
