Correct me if am wrong

A template consists of default options, settings and text you will base several events on. Any event based on a template should inherit the properties of the template, then allow the administrator to tweak them for the particular event.

The Matukio template doesn't do that. I created a template and also assigned it to a category "Onsite workshops". Now while creating an event,

(a) I can't see anyway to link that event to the template.
(b) When I do link it to the category "Onsite workshops" none of the settings of the template are inherited

An inelegant fix for this already exists (Just create your template as an unpublished event, then simply copy it) but fixing the bug with templating will be a more elegant solution.

Regards
