• Type of events (Second level of attributes like categories, often as tag’s). events should be filterable with this on the eventlist (like with categories)

Yes, that's possible too.

We now try to establish that but cannot find a template or module doing that. we created tags, which are joomlas own. we are still looking for a way to filter events by these and try to create a menu-entry showing en event-list filtered by one tag.

Can you please be more specific how you think of solve that with Matukio.
