I am having problems installing Joomcomments 3.26 on a Joomla 1.5.8. install:

This is what I did so far:
-Installing the component on my local server on an exact copy of the website works fine (I got the error 'error moving...';
-I then tried to install the component directly on the live website: during the install a blank page shows. No error messages.
after checking the files it appears files have been installed (com_comment 2x). Comparing the database revealed that not all tables were updated/created as on my local install.
-I then decided to copy the live database, install joomcomment local =>database alterations were succesfully made. And then uploaded this database. In the back-end everything seems fine. But if I then look at the live site: it only shows a white page, with the site Title.
-If I then remove the two records from the jos_plugins table. The site works again, but the plugins (of course) do not show up in the plugin overview.

So I think I am pretty close to a manual install, but the jos_plugins records break the site. Thnxs for your help!

UPDATE: If I do not publish: Content - !JoomlaComment, the site works again. Activatiing this plugin causes site to only show blank page+ site title. Admin section works fine.

OK SOLVED: Turned error reporting on. It was a memory_limit problem
