Resolved Read on error???

unsure if this is a bug or setting error but the problem I am having is read on will not show on long text. I read this from your setting page (Show only if "Read On" parameter of the calling menu link (in joomla admin Menu->;) my article is set to show and also show links for registered users in global.
I even turned all these setting to NO and the full text will not show, am I missing something
