Resolved [] operator not supported for strings in

Hi there, I've installed Hotspots Professional 5.2.1 on my site and got this error. Tried to find a solution for this and i've found this topic here:

There is no solution and as i can see that doesnt help if i upgrade to 5.3.3 as Michael answered in that topic. Any new on this? is this solved in 5.3.7?
