Old events not visible in front end

Hi,

When logged into the Matukio component on the front end of my site, I can't see the list of old events when they are chosen from the drop down list. Nothing populates

However, if I log into the back end of my site and go to the Matukio component all old events are listed there and are visible.

This seem strange to me - any ideas?
