I am really to say that here, but today it was the first day i had todo with a comment component other then i wrote by myself (had to do this because it was a migration from a J.1.0.15 to J1.5.8 site).
Recommendation from us (who got this order): all must be in native mode.

Okay, enough of the intruduction.

The customer had before JoomlaComment 3.26 installed - with some visible bugs (php errors on the screen).

I thought i could give the new version 4.x of JoomlaComment a try.
Was quote a big mistake by myself!

Because why?

Had the first errors during installation process (use of undefined _ISO, etc.).
Thought with this i could live ...

But then the hammer: in the frontend after the first try, the next errors - after writing a comment instead of saving a few error emssages in the comment textfield, same with _ISO as above and a few more (was in the main.class).

To come to an end: looekd a few around fount JComments (joomlatune.com), installed it, converted the existing 3.200 comments from JoomlaComment with one (1) click.

Now the site is at it should be.

Can only recommend JComments, is native J.1.5.x, imports from many other comment systems.
Just to remember: i am NOT from JComments, i am only a satisfied user of JComments!
