Resolved Joomla 1.6 - built-in comment application

I have read that the new upcoming Joomla will have a comment feature built-in. What do you think about it? Would that mean that you could see decrease of downloaders/users of your comment application? Do you plan to allow users to export/import comment database between the applications?
