I've done a search, but I don't find anything about this subject, so forgive me if it's already been discussed.

In my !Joomlacomment "Content Settings," under "Postings," I had set the "IP address visible" to "no," which was working for a while. Without me making any changes to the code or any other admin features, all of a sudden the comments started showing people's IP addresses, albeit it partial, fortunately.

I immediately went to check the Postings feature and found that it was still checked as "no" and "yes" to partial. I decided that perhaps having the "yes" to partial checked might be causing a problem, so I unchecked it, but kept the "no" to the "IP address visible" checked. To my horror, that just allow the entire IP to be revealed.

I absolutely do not want anyone's IP address to be shown, even if only partial. Is this a known bug? If I can't fix it, I will have to delete all the comments and replace !Joomlacomments with another comments component, which I don't want to do, although azrul.com looks pretty good.

Thanks.
