It appears that anyone can wreck a website with joomlacomment installed by posting hundreds of emoticons in their comment. If someone does this, it causes a 500 internal server error and brings down the entire website. Yikes!
If this happens the best way to fix the problem is to delete the table row containing the emoticon flood comment in the joomla database.
Hopefully the new release will address this flaw.
