  4.  Subscribe via email
Hello,

I'm trying to edit the CompojoomComment email notification that goes out to my users when they subscribe to email updates to comments within a particular Joomla article. I've worked out that this is done through the "en-GB.com_comment.ini" within /language/en-GB folder. What I'm specifically looking to do is set it so that it says "Hello 'Name'" at the top of the email - this is so that it looks similar to my JomSocial emails and gives the users a common feel when they receive emails from my website. Can you tell me if this is possible? I've tried many variables for the 'name' part of this... The 'name' variable that's in the comment.ini file calls the name of the person that has made the actual comment - is there any way to also call the name of the person that it's addressing the email too?

I've tried using various Joomla default variables for 'name', but none of these seem to work.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Many thanks.

Regards,

Parr
