Hi
Brand new install of Joomla 3.0.3 Stable.
It's a brand new blank install of Joomla with no other components, modules or plugins added.
Hotspots 3.3 installed.
Permissions have been adjusted as per instructions on install file.
From the very first time I have tried to open the component only the Locations(Hotspots), KML, Hotspots and Categories are shown. It is four lines of styled text with an image for each tab - there are no visual tabs or page structure at all. Nothing else appears on the page.

Error displayed in the browser tab header as follows -
Error: 0 DirectoryIterator::__construct(/home/name of my website/public_html/name of my sub directoryfolder/media/com_hotspots/tiles[<ahref='directoryiterator.--construct</a>]:failed to open dir: No such file or directory

I have unistalled both your component and Joomla and done a clean install (although I have been unable to use hotspots to perform a single function.

Additionally, I have created new hotspot categories because I can open the categories manager. As soon as I create a new main menu link pointing to the hotspots component I get a 403 error on the website.
Changing the menu link to a different component restores the website.

Still messing with it with these results.
It appears that the 'Single Hotspot' and 'User Hotspots' options both work and display the map but the 'Hotspot Submission Layout' and 'Map View' options will not display a map.

Some re-reading of the documentation has solved the majority of these problems. However the dashboard can only be viewed via the 'Live Update' option which is a bit odd. From there I can solve the 403 error by changing permissions.
However using the 'User Hotspots' option creates the marker upload/add page rather than the map as the default.

When trying to add a user added marker from the front end and submitting the new location I get this -
Warning: include_once(/home/outc/public_html/Free-Camping/components/com_community/libraries/userpoints.php) [function.include-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/outc/public_html/Free-Camping/plugins/hotspots/jomsocial/jomsocial.php on line 63
