 Attempting to follow the instructions in the documentation:


  • Go to components/com_comment/templates . Copy the default template
  • Paste the default template in templates/your_joomla_template/html/com_comment/templates

On that second step, templates/as002052/html/com_comment/ did not have a templates subdirectory. So I created it, then copied the default template there. I renamed default to elisha.

Now I have this:


  • templates/as002052/html/com_comment/templates/elisha/
  • containing all the files of the default template.
But when I go into backend CComment > Settings > Comment configuration for com_content > Template, I do not see an elisha template in the dropdown list.

Have I done something wrong here? Please advise.
