  4.  Subscribe via email
Hi there - I just installed 4.0 for my website and the comments are actually working fine - but I cannot access the back end. I get a blank screen for any of the management settings.

I have read on another post that this is probably due to my hosting provider's mysql being 4.1. Since my provider (Yahoo) cannot upgrade mysql, is there any way to manually configure some of the settings? I am most interested in hiding the input form (currently the entire form is showing at the bottom of every article as a default) until the user clicks a link to open a new comment.

Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

James
