Resolved CMC New subscriber email

I have installed CMC and got it all set up. when a new subscriber signs up I am having a couple issues:
1. They are not getting the subscription confirmation email
2. Their first and last names are not auto filling in the fields in the joomla users which is not saving the users properly and syncing to my mail chimp lists.
