Hello,

I am working to get JoomlaComment working on a site. The component worked several times a long time ago but has stopped working since then. The problem is that when you write a comment it doesn't appear but an error code like this comes up:
Warning: mysql_real_escape_string() [function.mysql-real-escape-string]: A link to the server could not be established in /backup/tituscol/public_html/components/com_comment/joscomment/utils.php on line 548
<post>
<after>4</after>
<noerror>1</noerror><debug></debug>

misiune

|SAdministrator
|2010-11-03 21:00:13

Character problem. empty comment

Reply | Edit | Delete

0

0

</post>

Yet the comment does appear, but with the comment text: "Character problem. empty comment"

I really do not know what is wrong. I can not access the site through FTP (Because when I activate it in settings it says it can't) and neither do I know how to access the Mambot code. It would be grate if you could give me some advise solving the problem through the Admin site. Maybe the above code can help.
Since I am short in time I appreciate fast help.

Thanks in advance
/Andy
