Description of my issue:
I have an active subscription to CComment Pro. I used CComment's LiveUpdate to upgrade from 5.0.8 to 5.1 (Pro version). The upgrade seemed to work fine except post-upgrade I noticed two problems:
#1: This message "JLIB_FILESYSTEM_ERROR_PATH_IS_NOT_A_FOLDER_FOLDER" on the CComment Dashboard after LiveUpdate and on Extension Manager after a (re)install from scratch. The message goes away if I do a refresh, but returns after every (re)install. I Google searched looking for solutions. Based on some of the threads I found, I verified the paths to my log, tmp, and cache folders ARE correct (so that's not the problem).
#2: This message on the CComment Dashboard: "You may not be able to install updates automatically. Your version of Joomla! requires the Installer - CComment plugin to be published in order for updates to work." The installer is NOT installed. I'm assuming it should have been installed as part of the upgrade install. I can find no stand-alone installer for the installer plugin.
I tried downloading the install for CComment Pro 5.1 and reinstalling from scratch, same symptoms. Screenshots attached from the reinstall.
