My Hotspots map is working fine now, at least fine enough. I don't have an API code in my hotspots settings, but I have read about how to get an API if I have to.
Questions:
I'm wondering if there are issues with the 3.6.x updates to Joomla leaving Hotspots at this version?
If I update Joomla and Hotspots to the latest Dev version will I be forced to use an API in the settings?
What is the advantage of using an API if everything works without it? Is it something Google has inflicted on us?
