I've been reviewing several extensions available for Joomla. We have the need to allow all registered users (or members of a specific non-admin group) access to send simple email notifications to all registered users of the system. Currently there is the built in Mass Email option for administrators, but need to provide a simple and restricted way for any logged in user to ability to send notifications to all other users. Since the notifications would be going to the email address if the users, I felt leveraging a service like MailChimp would be a good choice.

Does your plug in have the ability to allow this option for any registered user? If not, do you know of any or is this something that you may be able to accomplish leveraging your extension through customization?
