Sorry to bug, but we have HotSpots installed on a few of our sites and love it, but the new version doesn't seem to have the marker popups with auto centering anymore. Am I missing something? The new version 4.x just covers up the map - not very useful (or attractive) and very confusing for our users.
How do we get the nifty popups back?
Thanks.

Explanation why they were removed can be found here:

Is the issue in your case the fact that the marker is hidden behind the div? Or do you just want infowindows? Would it be ok if clicking on the marker would center the marker in the new map?

I guess if they're gone they're gone. (Is there no link for the final version that contains them?)
We still have 2 issues however:
1. if we turn the side menu off (show no tabs), the "Zoom" link doesn't do anything in the popup windows at the bottom.
2. If we show the menu but have it closed, it leaves a blank white space on the map when the page loads. Check out the screenshot.
Thanks for the support. We like HotSpots, but the changes are making it challenging to use now.

All right - will fix the zoom issue.

As far the white space when the menu is closed is concerned - it is already fixed and is going to be in the next release (you can get the fix in the latest hotspot release)

btw - if I make it so that clicking on a hotspot centers the map on that hotspot and displays the information at the bottom - would this be ok?

I don't think centering will help us much - it can be a little disorienting if the bottom popup covers up the marker anyway. We are going to use the sidebar instead - it makes the map pretty small, but at least the Zoom link works there.

Well, actually in your case you seem to have a lot of text and a lot of new lines there. It takes like 75% of the map which is too much. I would add some css to make it take maximum 30% and will fix the zoom issue. If you have any idea how to make it non-disorienting, then let me know :)
