Hi!

I have installed Joomla!Comment on my website (which is currently on my localhost).

Installation sucessful, i can manage to see it in Plugin Manager and its "enabled".

I see it under Components too..

However i get this under "Manage Comments",

Notice: Undefined variable: renderedcomments in C:\wamp\www\Infusion\administrator\components\com_comment\views\comments\view.html.php on line 109

Any Help?!

I have been working on this for 3 days now :(

When i go to my website to view pages, i see this

Connection Interrupted

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

The network link was interrupted while negotiating a connection. Please try again

and a Microsoft Windows error saying Apache HTTP Server stopped working and was closed...

any Help PLZ!

I just want to clear one thing: those problems you have are not related to joomlacomment, so perhaps renaming the title should help.

Here more information about the .htaccess:
docs.joomla.org/How_do_you_convert_an_ht..._a_.htaccess_file%3F

I guess the JoomlaSpeedFormula (JSF) will be exactly for you - wait for it and pray for it ;)

Noorline, I asked you - did you understand what the .htaccess file is for?

I feel so retarded...

Well, your link says:

When using PHP as an Apache module, you can change the configuration settings using directives in Apache configuration files (e.g. httpd.conf and .htaccess files). You will need "AllowOverride Options" or "AllowOverride All" privileges to do so. If you control your own Apache configuration, you can and should use httpd.conf. If you do not control your Apache configuration (such as on a shared server), you must use .htaccess files.

So im guessing these files are Apache configuration files..
and when u use PHP as an Apache module u can configure themm...

i know retarded reply.. but thats all i know :(

I'm wondering why aren't you using google to find out why the .htaccess makes problems for you?

I think that you are new to forums so I will give you this link:
catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html
It is a must read for all that want to use the internet as a way to find answers.

I'll help, but I need to be sure that you tried to solve the problem alone and have searched for information.

I wrote above that the problem doesn't have anything to do with joomlacomment, but with the .htaccess file and the url rewriting feature. Untill you configure it right - you will have problems.

Did you read my post when I said - did you rename htaccess.txt to .htaccess?
If you use the mod_rewrite option you have to do this.
