 Hi Daniel,

Two questions about Hotspots and Jomsocial integration:

1) Is it possible to use this integration while using jomsocial multiprofile? I would like to have diferent categories of jomsocial users showing in the map.

2) When I set the hotspots options under integration tab "Enable Avatars" to jomsocial, wasn´t It supposed to show the avatar somewhere in the mapview?
I don´t know if I´m missing something, but It´s not working for me.

Hey Daniel,

1. I don't know what this is? Is this a custom extension, or a feature of Jomsocial?

2. It should be showing the avatar when you hover over the name of the user who posted the Hotspot.

Hello Daniel,

1) It is a jomsocial feature. You can have different types of profile (with diferent fields on registration). When you set this up, It asks to the final user wich kind of profile he belongs when he starts the registration (example: if he is a student or a teacher). Using this feature jomsocial categorize the community members. I would like to know if it is possible, using this feature, to have maps on diferent menus each one using a diferent jomsocial profile.

2) The link I sent when I opened this ticket is showing a map with jomsocial members, but the avatar feature is not working. I installed two plugins and set the global options like I read on hotspots documentation.

Hey Daniel,

1. Aha. No, our plugin can't do that. I didn't think about this option when I created the plugin and that's why all users are landing in the same category. It shouldn't be that hard to hack the plugin though and map the jomsocial profiles to different categories in Hotspots. 1 ot 2h of work most probably.

2. The avatar should be shown when you display the author of a hotspot. Right now I don't see this in your demo.
