Hi
We are looking for a new events management system for our Joomla website. In order to choose our product we must be able to:
- add/customise registration form fields
- specify who is running the course and send participant registrations to them
- send confirmation emails to the participants
- send an email to the participant's manager (their email and name will be entered on the form) requesting their employee be released for the course
- run reports about participants
- hide payment information as all our courses are free
- mark that a participant has attended (we like your certificate feature)
Can Matukio do this?

With thanks

Megan

Hey Megan,

- you are able to customize and add new booking fields
- each course has an organizer. The organizer can see who is subscribing to the course and contact the participants
- when a user books an event - he will get a confirmation email

- participant's manager? Isn't this the event organiser? The event organiser should be a user who is registered on your joomla site. As a registered user you'll always know who that is and you can contact him.

- what kind of reports exaclty?

- yes, you can hide payment information

- how should be a participant marked as attended? He can receive a certificate per email.

You can also go to our demo page and on the left you should see a live demo button. Enter your email there and you'll get a joomla site with matukio installed on it. Then you can play with all this features and see for yourself what matukio can or cannot do :)

Regards,
Daniel

Hi Daniel

Thanks for your response. The Manager is not the event organiser no, they are the boss of the person at their own company. So we offer training for companies and then their staff come here, to our facility to participate in training. So the even organiser would be our teacher, the participants are from an external company, and we also need an automated email to go to the boss of those participants at the external company.

We'd like to be able to run reports that allow us to see who has done a particular course from each company e.g. if Company ABC has 500 employees, how many of them have participated in COURSE XYZ.

I tried the demo site but it only lets me play with the front end, not test back end features as far as I can see.

Thanks again

Megan

Hey Megan,

On the left you have "live demo". Click on it and once you provide your email we'll create a demo instance for you where you'll have access to the backend. Test it and let me know what you guys need changed. We can make you an offer for the things that are not working as you need with matukio.

Regards,
Daniel
