One of the strongest reasons I purchased Matukio was it's ability to allow a user to purchase tickets for additional guests. However, after creating an event whereby a guest can register up to 20 additional guests, I am discovering some severe limitations.
I have searched through all options in the backend, looked over the forum and the online documentation but I cannot find any answers to these questions.
- How do additional guests receive their tickets? After the user registers, they receive an email with their ticket, however, it's just a single ticket.
- My booking form requires the user to enter an email address for each additional guest. Can the tickets for each additional guest be sent directly to them at this address?
- If point 2 cannot be achieved, can the original user who made the booking receive an individual ticket for each additional guest? At least that way they can then distribute them.
If all the additional guests are registered on a single ticket which is then sent to the user who makes the booking, how do you expect that to work? Are all guests expected to arrive at the event and check in at the same time?? With up to 20 guests being registered for my event by a single user, this is highly impractical.
Please advise if I should open a support ticket in order to get a response. After 3 days of asking questions in the forum, I am yet to receive a single reply.
