Hi,

I have an event that is spread over 5 days at 5 different locations. On each day, there are 2 sessions - one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

Is there any way I can have the user select the event location from the Upcoming Events page and then select the session? Currently, each session shows up as its own event in the Upcoming Events page meaning I have 10 events showing instead of 5. This is very confusing for the user as every 2nd event is actually on the same day and at the same location.

Any help or advice on how I can achieve multiple sessions on a single day would be appreciated.

Thank you.

P.S. @Admins: Sorry, I've just noticed I posted this question in the wrong forum category. Feel free to move to the correct category.

Hi Damian,

hmm the upcoming event page has no location filter, only the event-list. Any reason you don't want to use that?

For multiple sessions on a single day, you can just create the event with the first date (e.g. 9-12) and then in the dates area add a second date (15-18) for this event.

Kind regards,
Yves

Hello Yves,

Thank you for your response.

I did this already but the two times show up as two separate items in the Events List (see attached). To the user, at first glance these look like 2 different events. You only realise they are on the same day if you look at the dates.

It would be better if the user selects the Event/date and then selects the session from the booking form.

Hm yes then it is shown as two different events (even in the event you can show the other date). As an alternative you can use Additional Dates, to have the second one just showing.

But then you only have one event, with one booking form (you could add a booking field -> Which slot? (Morning / Afternoon)), but the participants would be shared between that.

Kind regards,
Yves
