My blog with Joomla is doing well - lots of comments (4000 over a 2 year period). This is because I allow anyone to comment and fight spam with Akismet and re-captcha so that I get no spam. Many of the posts are about financial issues so many of the comments include financial words - costs, fees etc and several times people commenting have found their comment rejected. Testing shows that a high density of financial words causes Akismet to reject the comment. When Akismet is used in WordPress, rejected comments are listed as being "for moderation" but in CompoJoom, Akismet works with no visibility. There is no way to correct false positives. A feature to moderate comments rejected by Akisment would be cool.

Hey John,
I thought that if a comment gets rejected, the status of the comment is unpublished and you can still have a look at it?

No; when a person enters the comments, it seems to pass captcha then just hangs. Nothing shows up when I manage comments. I can reproduce the problem by entering the following text as a test:
forgone charges of those fees would result in the costs incured by the town in the approvals process for this development having to be paid out of other revenues which leaves that area shorter of funds than it should be. No cost to the town?
Enter this text as a comment and it always gets rejected. Note the frequent use of money words. Maybe there's another reason for the rejection but it's still a good test.
