Dear sirs,
I've checked the Hotspots Pro, I liked all its feautures.
Is it possible to get a demo version of it, for some days (not the Core free version) in order to test it?
I need to test if a user can submit from the front end a location with some text and images, and get the exact location from his/her smartphone to the map.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

Regards
Chris

You can test this on our demo page: demo.compojoom.com/hotspots/submit-a-location

Other than that we have 30 days money back guarantee.

Hi Daniel,
I'm about to purchase the Pro version, I have some questions about it.
The structure of the site is the following:
There are 4 pages with a map in each one. The names of the pages are Home, Lost, Found, Danger.
At pages Lost, Found and Danger, front end registered user can see a blank map, submit a location (either manually or automatically) and fill the form with some data, images, etc. After submission, the location will be displayed on the map at Home page, so visitors can see them. Each new location will be added to the Home map, while maps at the other 3 pages remain blank.

Is this possible with your extension? Can the input form be customised? Is it possible to change the look of the submission UI? We need to have the map first, and after that all other data.

Another matter is how the locations data are stored. When the site is ready, an app will be built for the same purpose. How the extension will be integraded with the app? Will it get data from the app?

Thanks in advance
Regards
Chris

Hey Chris,
The data is stored on your site and you can do whatever you want with it.

I'm not sure I understand your idea. Why are the pages lost, found and danger having a blank map? Are you showing a submission form or what?

This is a joomla extension. Every joomla extension can be customized as you own the code. With some layout overrides you can change nearly everything in the layout.

Daniel

Hi Daniel,

the idea is that at Lost, Found, Danger pages the user can submit a location without seeing the already submitted locations in order not to be confused. All submitted locations will be visible at Home page.

Chris

Look at our demo page. I don't think that you need 3 pages Lost, found, danger.
You need 3 hotspots categories lost, found and danger. Than you need a single submit page where the user has to select in which category he wants to post.

Daniel

Ok Daniel, this solution is fine.
The site will have 2 sections. Let's say for ITEM1 and ITEM2.
In ITEM1 section, there will be a Lost, Found, Danger map (3 hotspots categories). The same applies for ITEM2.
Because I want the UI of the site to be as friendly as it can be, I want the user to navigate to the section he wants for ITEM1 or ITEM2 and see only the 3 respective hotspots categories.
Is it possible?

Chris

Chris install the core version and test it with it. Create the 3 categories, then create 3 menus - each pointo to a different catgory and you already have 90% of the work. The core version doesn't come with frontend hotspot submit support, but you can add hotspots throug the backend to see how it's going to work. You will have 1 single submit page where the users will have to select a category and enter the other information.
It should be easy enoug in my opinion :)

Daniel
