Hi,

I've installed your component on Joomla and messed around with basic setup. It seems like a great component. Very slick, especially when used to so many Joomla components that are rough around the edges. I have one main question:

Is there a way, maybe through CSS to apply color-shaded "zones" to parts of the map? For instance, if you take a city and break it into four sections, can I apply red, green, blue, yellow to respective sections on the map?

Not sure about that. If you can make this with: gmaps-samples-v3.googlecode.com/svn/trun...ps/wizard/index.html , then you can get the json, add it to hotspots and everything will be fine. But I doubt that.

Another possibility if the above doesn't work would be a KML file. You can draw your colors in google earth and upload that KML file in hotspots, then we will load it for the specified category.

Regards,
Daniel

I see. Thank you for your quick response. I will investigate the two options you presented.
